  4. Braid Crown Half Down

Suitable for all types of faces

    How To Style

First, use texturizing spray and a teasing comb to give the hair around the crown and sides of the face for more volume. Styling Creme is also great! *Hair tends to hold anything better when it isn’t freshly washed. Part the hair (model wanted a middle part) as desired for the start of the braid(s). For hair that won’t be pulled into braid around the crown, tease and bobby pin down to give some lifted volume within the finished crown braid. Begin one side. Start french braiding but rather than pulling the hair over and under, pull under then over similar to a fish braid and collect sections of hair to add in as you travel around the side of the head. Once the braid reaches a little further than the middle of the back of the head, bobby pin the braid down covering the other bobby pins. Repeat for other side but at the end of this braid you will tuck and secure it behind the braid already pinned down. Make sure bobby pins are hidden and braids appear to merge. Spray with texturizing spray. Use a curling rod or curling iron to curl hair and spray with hairspray as you go. For waves, simply brush out the curls once they’ve held for about 10min (this time depends on how well your hair holds curls/waves). At the top of the braids start pinching and pulling small pieces of the hair out from the braid. Pull both sides at the same time to keep the frame/shape of the braid. Continue manipulating the hair wider all the way down the braid to achieve desired thickness/messiness. Finish off with hairspray & voila!

    Recommended Products

Dry shampoo and texturizing spray! My favorite (affordable!!) products to achieve this style were Suave Professionals Natural Dry Shampoo with argan oil, Tresemme Compressed Textured Hairspray, and AVEDA air control Hairspray. (recommend using stronger hairspray for people that don’t hold curls/waves well) also used bobby pins, Conair Styling Essentials Comb, and a 3/4″ ceramic curling iron.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

Crown braid is beautiful on any woman! It is especially lovely on longer or angular faces because it frames the face. However, for you ladies with a rounder face, leaving the rest of the hair halfway down gives you more length for a more slimming effect as well as the height from the crown. The model had thick, long hair which made this style very easy to create and hold. Others can achieve a thicker braid with extensions or tease the hair, braid it, then pinch and pull from the sides to manipulate it giving it that “wider” look.

  5. The Beach Bronzed Balayage

Suitable for all types of faces

    How To Style

Start off with slightly lightened hair through the mid-lengths and ends, so using a balayage and teasing technique we are lightening the hair using Wella blond or focusing on the contour of your face (to achieve a more sun-kissed natural look) focusing more around the face gives the illusion that you are blonder without having to go through the whole head of hair and potentially causing damage and just makes that Blonde POP. Perfect for summer and wanted something different without changing everything too much! Once the hair has lifted to the desired level of lift, rinse the hair and shampoo and condition. Once the hair is washed we combed through gently to remove the teasing (back comb) until the hair is detangled. Apply a root gloss using all Wella 7/7 + 7/81 in Illumina with 4% combing through the mid-lengths where we then glossed the ends using 9/7 in Illumina with 4% left to develop for 20 mins, then rinse and apply a gloss over the whole head in 7/89 color touch with 4%. Then cut and blow-dry the hair, finishing off with a cloud 9 waving the wand to produce a beachy finish!

    Recommended Products

With all the hair, we use Wella products. With all colors we recommend using a treatment service called “Well Alex” this guarantees the condition of the hair without damage to allow maximum lift. When cutting hair we only use Akito scissors which we feel are the finest scissors. We always recommend when drying hair that products are used to protect the color and condition. In this case, we used a blowdrying spray and heat protector “thermal image” this will help against the use of straighteners or curling irons.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

When it comes to balayage hair for us there is no right or wrong face shape! This is just the perfect color for anyone wanting a hairstyle that requires no maintenance and grows out supernatural without rootage allowing you to get the maximum time out of your color without the stress of having to return to the salon! This style is perfect for all hair types too whether its straight, wavy, curly, short to long length, fine or thick. For people with fine hair, this technique can give the hair body and actually make it look thicker! For people requiring length into the hair, balayage can give the illusion the hair is longer if you take it brighter through the underneath!

  6. Messy Chignon

Suitable for all types of faces

    How To Style

First, create soft waves with the GHD curling iron to make the hair more stylable. Then tie it together in the neck, separating it in 2 strands, twisted them fluffly together and fix them in a knot shape with bobby pins. For this messy chignon look, it’s essential to pull out thin strands from the contour to let it appear even more tender.

    Recommended Products

Heat protection before the use of the curling iron and texturing spray from Davines to get more grip in the hair.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

Perfect for over shoulder length hair and for fine to the medium structure. It is matching with every face shape!

Suitable for all types of faces

    How To Style

This hairstyle was achieved using the Conair infinity pro-1-1.5?? inch curling wand. First off, start with brushing out the hair separating the part in the middle and dividing the hair into four different sections per side, so eight sections altogether. Then, spray the Maui Moisture Color Protection & Sea Minerals Heat Shield Mist further from your hair. Then, take the curling wand and start with an individual curling section and wrap the hair around the curler making sure it is separated on the heating curler wrapping away from your face and wait about 10-15 seconds then let go of the curl and spray using KMS hairspray anti-humidity spray on each section of curled hair. Repeat and continue. After curling, spray the LOreal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hairspray. This is my holy grail, it doesn’t give you a heavy lifting or feel crunch like normal hairspray does. It is natural, flowy, and holds the look all day.

    Recommended Products

The other products that were used the Maui moisture makes your hair smell good and protects at the same time, can’t go wrong!

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

This hairstyle goes with any face shape and suits any hair type/ anyone! The best part about it is it gives you that voluminous look like you just woke up like that!
