1. Tell us about yourself?

I’m a Chinese girl currently based in Sydney, Australia. While I’m not shooting photos, I am an accountant in a multinational luxury group.

2. How did you become interested in fashion and blogging?

When I was a uni student, I found myself extremely passionate about reading fashion magazines and blogs, especially styling and matching section. I was inspired by a number of bloggers and I decided to be a blogger myself.

3. What is your favorite social media platform?

Definitely Instagram. The main reason is that Instagram is a platform that provides firsthand information from creator instead of being reposted/quoted by the third party. Bloggers are able to fully express themselves and interact with people who are interested in their contents.

4. One fashion rule you never break?

To pursue matching, not luxury.

5. What are your favorite designer and brands you like to shop from?

My current favorite brand is an Australia local brand called SHEIKE. Also, I always check out updates at KOOKAI, C/MEO Collective, W Concept, Zara etc.

6. Describe your personal style and who influenced you to pursue fashion?

My personal style is wearing upon the occasion. It’s always a good idea to wear what the occasion tells you, instead of dressing just for being pretty. Say for example if I attend a flower workshop, I won’t dress off-shoulder top or high heels because it’s not moving friendly. I would go for a T-shirt and denim with flat boots, which looks easy and effortless. If I need to point out one person who influenced me the most, I would like to say is Olivia Palermo. I like the way she defines fashion; she is a matching genius no matter on what occasions.

7. One recent trend that you love the most

Ruffle details on the sleeve and pants. It makes the pieces more feminine and stand out from the camera.

8. What’s the one thing you must have with you all the time?

Can I say lipstick? 🙂 One thing I must have with me other than lipstick is definitely sunglasses. I had plenty sunnies in my closet, they are the most important pieces that bring me different looks and styles. I just can’t stop buying them no matter where I go. I guess a right sunglass tells people that you put effort on the style of the day.

9. What advice do you want to give to other bloggers?

To me, fashion is an aesthetic matching game of outfit. It is something more than luxury and branding. Instead of blindly pursuing big brand, creating the philosophy of matching is more challenging and unique.

10. Things you first notice on anyone’s outfit?

Colour matching is my first glance at anyone’s outfit. A good color match will absolutely stand out from other posts and get more likes. It can also reflect someone’s aesthetic opinion of photography composition.

11. One thing you buy very often?

I think it’s definitely more than one thing I buy very often. It can be a top, pants, a pair of shoes or a jacket, depends on what came to my mind when I see the item, would it be easy to match, will I put it on in the recent one week, or would the material still comfy after washing.

12. What is your favorite item in your closet right now?

Right now I guess is blazer. Recently I bought a couple of blazers in a different style as it’s autumn in Australia. Can’t wait to put them on and share the look on Instagram.

13. What is your must-have accessory and perfume?

To be honest, I like wear watches. Wearing watch will add a sense of professionalism to the whole outfit, as an office lady, most of the time we are wearing smart casual. The scent of must-have perfume to me depends on the mood and occasions, my favorite perfume is Dior Blooming Bouquet and Jo Malones Blackberry & Bay.
