How To Style

I used all Redken products, I used Color Gels 5RV + 6R on her roots and dragged it down with my @wowcomb. I melted its colour into random weaves using Redken Flashlight + 20 vol, and in between foils I used Redken Shades EQ 6R and dragged it all the way down to her ends in random places for more of a natural fall. After shampooing, I toned everything with Redken Shades EQ 8GG. To achieve the hairstyle while the hair was wet, I used Oligo Blacklight 18 in 1 in her mids to ends.

Recommended Products

I then used Redken Guts volumising mousse on her roots. I flat wrapped everything while trying to give a more messy texture. Then I curled her with my Bio Ionic curling iron 1 1/4 inch. I sprayed her hair with Redken Wind Blown, and Redken Triple Take hairspray.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

The best face shape for this Lob style would be someone with an oval shaped face and the best hair type for this style would be someone with medium thickness.

How To Style

I had to prebleach the hair to a pale yellow blonde, using #blondeme which has a bond builder that is more gentle on the hair. We then used #Schwarzkopf lilac colour to achieve this beautiful pastel colour. For the cut, I gave her a shoulder-length Lob with minimal layers and a few layers around the face to give it a little lift and shape. I then used #bumbleandbumble tonic and thickening spray for added volume and shine. Do a quick power dry concentrating on the roots for height and then using a #hottools 1 1/4′ curling iron I alternated the vertical curls. I then ran my fingers through the curls for that lived in beach look.

Recommended Products

Products that I recommend are a root lifter for height, a curling iron larger than a 1-inch diameter, Light pomade for separating the curls and aerosol hairspray for hold and shine.

To achieve this colour, I had pre-lightened her previously, full head of balayage.’ The next time she came in for root touch up I used a level 4 brown red violet colour on her roots. While her roots were processing, I mixed proven magenta and applied that to the mid-shaft. Then I mixed a yellow banana and applied that to the ends leaving about 2′ section of uncoloured hair in between. So, I can blend the two colours with a clean brush.

Style. Don’t need a lot of protects, I used Kerastase elixir for heat protection, and beach wave sprays by Loreal. I then scrunched while drying to get some waves and body and then I added few soft curls with the large curling iron on the crown and around the face to soften the look.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

This type of hairstyle is perfect for oval face. If she had a longer face, I would have added some bangs maybe a side swept bangs, a reason for that is longer face can be dragged down my hair.

I first cut and coloured her hair. She came in with quite long hair and wanted a messy bob, not bob. So, I did the first. Next, I coloured her with Kenra. I did a rough dry before going over it with a round brush, and lastly, I went through with a large barrel curling iron and added waves.

Recommended Products

I used Kenya’s blow dry cream/ it’s my fav and it smells heavenly! After I curled it, I ran my hands through it with a little Moroccan oil! And voila! The style is pretty versatile, it takes the old soccer mom bob and makes it fresh and sexy.

How To Style

In this case, it is a pretty simple hairstyle, but you will need a very long hair, the model has her hair down and loose. What you can see in the image is a moment froze in time where she is turning and letting the hair flow naturally.

Recommended Products

We didn’t use any specific product, you will need the hair to be as loose as possible, so just having it washed will do.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

I think this can be done for any face shape, but you will need a long hair to have the best results.
