How To Style

The color: Balayage and Base with beige, brown color. The cut: Blunt Bob with textured layers on top. I have many clients like her who get Balayage every once in a while then come back every 8-12 weeks just for touching up the roots or toning for refreshing the color.

Recommended Products

Beachy wave hair is always cute with this style. I use OUAI textured spray after I curl with 1inch and half wand.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

This style will match any face shape and hair. That’€™s the reason why Lob€ or Textured bob is a popular trend now and won’t go anywhere.

How To Style

I achieved this style by tapering in the nape and bringing it in tight while texturing to bring lots of body.

Recommended Products

I would recommend Kenra volume spray at roots area and a great round brush such as one from @oliviagardenint.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

This style will suit just about any texture hair, it is a classic and can be worn by young and old just the same.

How To Style

I started out cutting like I would a normal bob, but over-directed all sections behind the left ear instead of the center and then cut the asymmetrical line and added some texture with a straight razor. I blew it out with Milbon restorative blow dry primer and flat ironed to check it.

Recommended Products

I recommend a smoothing cream like the Milbon blowout primer or r&co-high dive moisture/shine cream, but for flat ironing and curling (this cut looks beautiful with a wave as well) using Trophy spray for shine and texture.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

I think the lob is a universally flattering haircut and the asymmetrical lob is no different! It especially looks great on someone with an angular face and a long neck like this client.

How To Style

To achieve this look, I teased small sections and dipped the mid-shaft and ends on foil with Redken Flash lift and 30 volume, once the hair reached a baby light caramel I started pulling up the lightener to blend the color seamlessly. Then I rinsed and applied Olaplex No 1, equal parts with water and let that sit for ten mins, then rinsed and applied Olaplex No 2, shampooed using Rita Hazan true color shampoo and conditioner.

Recommended Products

The haircut is completely blunt, and we got inspirations from Johnny Depp in the 90s. To style this I used Daviness Oi oil, then the men’s€™s groomer paste, and Sasha Juan volume mouse, then I defused the hair without disturbing the curl pattern. Lately, I’ve been embracing men’€™s natural texture.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

This kind of hairstyle works with many different face shapes, it’€™s all about finding the guy to have the right rad style to pull this beach-ready style.

How To Style

This hairstyle can be created with a regular 1′ barrel curling iron. The key is grabbing 1-inch sections of hair, starting the curl from the root and working the curling iron down the hair strand, making sure not to hold the curling iron in one spot for more than a few seconds, and then tugging on the ends as you release the hair from the curling iron. This ensures a looser/beach wave type curl. If your curls tend to form together as the day goes on, it’€™s helpful to alternate directions as you curl your hair.

Recommended Products

The best products for this type of hairstyle are texture sprays. I use a wet/sea salt spray after I shake the curls out to keep it looking textured and in pieces, and then finish with a dry texture spray to add volume and fluff.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

This hairstyle works best for oval/oblong face shapes and hair textures that aren’€™t super thick, curly or course. This type of curl works best for fine-medium hair types that don’t already have a lot of natural curls.

How To Style

I achieved this hairstyle by first pre-lightening the hair to the lightest blonde. After that I melted I took the hair section by section and melted the purple root color into the blue end color. As far as the cut, I cut a blunt bob with a slight angle down towards the chin. After drying her hair, I went back in and added some light layering and texture to create more shape and movement.

Recommended Products

For her end color, I used straight Nirvana. As far as the product, I used Unite Texturiza dry texture spray to create a piecey look after I crimped small sections for texture.

How To Style

This hairstyle was achieved mostly with the haircut. I made the bottom very blunt to create a flattering weight line, and I angled it a little longer in the front, so it naturally swings forward giving her the illusion of more length, while the back is pretty short for the hot summer months.

This hairstyle was achieved mostly with the haircut…my client has neck and back issues that prevent her from being able to style her hair with a lot of steps. I made the bottom very blunt to create a flattering weight line, and I angled it a little longer in the front, so it naturally swings forward giving her the illusion of more length, while the back is pretty short for the hot summer months.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

This cut can work on all face shapes by adjusting the length and the degree of the angle. My client has a diamond shape and does not like to accentuate her chin and neck too much, so I kept the front longer to not draw the eye straight to her jaw bone. I would recommend a cut like this for someone with naturally smoother hair texture.

How To Style

This cut is achieved on wavy hair, it’€™s a blunt bob cut to the curl texture using a Deva Curl method with long layers. You can view the process in another post. I’€™ll send the link. The color is in a reverse ombré.

Recommended Products

I used Deva Curl Delight cleanser (once a week) and Used Delight conditioner (left in) and scrunched in Deva Curl Arc Angel and air dried.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

The best face shape for this look is oval, diamond, heart or long. Works best with a longer neck so that it sits above the shoulders but below the chin to get a nice swing.

How To Style

To achieve this style, I would recommend using a round brush to do a blowout. You’ll want some smoothing serum to add the shine and a little volume powder.

Recommended Products

I did a color touch up using Schwarzkopf white blending cream. Also, a Mohawk section of highlights and lowlights, using Schwarzkopf blonder lightener and Igora royal.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

Most face shapes work with this style. The only shape I wouldn’€™t recommend with it is a longer face shape as this will make your face look longer.

How To Style

I achieved this hairstyle by blow drying and round brushing the hair followed by a flat iron.

Recommended Products

I recommend using a root booster to help with volume at the base of the hair, a little bit of hair oil to sleek the hair out and after the hair’s dry a little dry texture spray or medium hold hairspray so the hair doesn’t go limp.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

I think anyone can rock a textured bob with confidence no matter the face shape or hair texture but this particular client has an oval face and fine hair.

I cut her shoulder length bob, with very light & €œfeather like€ layers on the crown area. And quite thick fringe, slightly curved on the sides.

Recommended Products

For this hairstyle I’€™m recommending heat protectant spray & root boost/styling foam if volume needed. Maybe some light oil, if extra shine is needed. And bit of hairspray is almost always good for the finished touch.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

Suitable for Oval Faces.

The color was achieved using Redken High Fusion Red for the added kick and brightness. Shea€™s been growing out her hair from a short shag shape into a classic bob, refining every 6 weeks. The final style is a simple blowout.

Recommended Products

One if my favorite product combo is Redken High Rise Gel in the root area and Satin Wear throughout the ends for heat protection and shine.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

A chin-length bob shape is fantastic for anyone, customizing for the individual.

How To Style

This style is achieved by long layers and hair framing the face, and I used Redken full frame mouse cocktail with a small amount of Redken diamond oil blow-dried with large round metal brush to give a full and smooth finished look.

Recommended Products

That also goes for the hair type with tweaking a few things by adding texture and point cutting you can also use Redken rewind after blowdrying to give a separated peicey look.

Best Face Shape and Hair Type

As far as face shape this style can look good with all face shapes but tweaking the length of hair and also the layers shorter or longer even adding a side bang.
